It's summer, but we are still celebrating success!  White County Schools had lots of highlights last school year to keep spotlighting.

NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED "DISTRICT ON THE RISE"
White Co. Schools is 1 of only 4 districts in Tennessee with this distinction.  Our students ranked 95th percentile nationally in reading growth and 86th percentile in math growth, outperforming similar districts by 35 percentile points in reading.

LEVEL 5 TVAAS
White County Schools is a Level 5 school district, and 4 schools earned the distinction as well.  TVAAS is based on a Level 1-5 scale measuring growth.

TOP MARKS ON STATE REPORT CARD
4 schools earned an "A" and 3 more earned a "B."  Schools are assigned a letter grade based on their performance in achievement, growth, growth for high needs students, and (for high schools) college and career readiness.

REWARD SCHOOLS
6 schools earned Reward School status, based on academic achievement, student growth, attendance rates, and English language acquisition.
